Responsibility
- Process purchase requisitions (PR) and purchase orders (PO) efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Request and compare quotations to secure the best terms for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the store team to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with production and logistics schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements in procurement workflows.
- Resolve vendor disputes and ensure timely resolution of procurement-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industry standards is a plus.
