Responsibility
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance protocols for animal feed production, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify quality and safety.
- Develop and maintain documentation for quality control procedures, test results, and compliance reports.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes and facilities to ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and company policies.
- Analyze quality data trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Coordinate with external laboratories and certification bodies for product testing and certification.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in the animal feed or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO, HACCP, GMP) and regulatory standards.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques, including microbiological and chemical testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Quality Assurance or related fields is a plus.
