Responsibility
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and placing orders for goods and services.
- Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping of all incoming and outgoing items.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
- Monitor and report on inventory discrepancies, losses, or damages, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, invoices, and delivery notes in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including halal certification requirements for procured items.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with inventory management software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Familiarity with halal procurement standards and regulations is highly desirable.
- Must be a Muslim, as this role involves handling halal-certified products and compliance with Islamic principles.
