Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and attentive manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Create visually appealing latte art and ensure consistent presentation for all beverages.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista in a café, coffee shop, or similar establishment (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso techniques, and milk steaming.
- Ability to create consistent, high-quality beverages with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a passion for engaging with people.
- Strong work ethic, ability to multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with POS systems and café operations is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as required.
