Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and purchase raw materials, components, and services required for production while ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and negotiations to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, and logistics, to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Implement and maintain procurement processes, including request-for-quotation (RFQ), request-for-proposal (RFP), and tender evaluations.
- Track and report on key procurement metrics, such as cost savings, supplier performance, and lead times.
- Ensure adherence to ethical sourcing practices and sustainability standards in all procurement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proven ability to analyze market data, assess supplier capabilities, and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
