Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to enhance internal controls, compliance, and cost-saving initiatives in purchasing activities.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure the availability of ordered products without overstocking or shortages.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate pricing trends, and recommend cost-effective alternatives.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders, invoices, and deliveries, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare and maintain procurement reports, including spend analysis, supplier performance, and budget tracking.
- Ensure all purchasing activities align with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in order processing, documentation, and record-keeping.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
