Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of goods and services for hospitality and operational needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and logistics teams to align procurement with organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Support sustainable and ethical sourcing initiatives in line with Taman Safari Indonesia’s conservation mission.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, forecasts, and analysis to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of contract law, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices is a plus.
