Responsibility
- Issue and manage purchase orders (POs) with precision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, fostering strong vendor relationships to drive quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, finance, logistics) to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement supplier development strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure competitive advantages.
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to mitigate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or logistics industries is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
