Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective and high-quality suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to assess reliability, financial stability, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budget constraints.
- Monitor inventory levels and lead times to optimize stock management and prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices to support corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Analyze spend data and generate reports to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contractual disputes, in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing, construction, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship development.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) and the ability to interpret market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices and industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-changing business environment.
