Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and preparing purchase orders.
- Support the evaluation and selection of vendors based on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance) to identify procurement needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts in the procurement system.
- Participate in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Assist in tracking market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities for hotel operations.
- Support the preparation of reports on procurement activities, spending analysis, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing purchase orders and inventory records.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
