Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for goods and services, both locally and internationally, to meet company procurement needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for the company while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, logistics) to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions and mitigate risks.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications, to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Resolve any issues related to supplier deliveries, quality, or pricing in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
