Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for mechanical and electrical materials, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to define technical specifications and material requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve delivery issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers in the mechanical/electrical sector.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal, ethical, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical materials, components, and industry standards.
- Proven negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of cost savings.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier proposals and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
