Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance across all categories of spend.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship development to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business goals, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality, sustainability, and ethical standards.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
