Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and services to support production needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages.
- Ensure all procured materials comply with food safety standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure reliable and timely deliveries.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and logistics teams to ensure seamless procurement-to-production workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP) and regulatory compliance.
- Proven negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of cost savings.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
