Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for packaging materials to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations to drive value and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability and corporate responsibility standards in packaging procurement.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular performance reviews to maintain high service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and reduce lead times.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in packaging or FMCG industries.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic sourcing skills.
- Experience with supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
