Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure favorable terms and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Manage supplier performance metrics, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in procurement, such as e-sourcing and spend analytics.
- Mentor and develop procurement team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or strategic sourcing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction in a corporate or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in CPSM, CIPS, or SCMP is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, logistics, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing business needs.
