Responsibility
- Oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring on-time and accurate product deliveries to clients and retail partners.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of distribution staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement efficient route plans to minimize costs and maximize delivery productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local transportation laws.
- Resolve logistical challenges proactively, including delays, vehicle maintenance, or last-minute order changes.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and team performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, procurement) to align distribution strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Proven ability to manage teams, delegate tasks, and drive operational efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of route optimization software (e.g., FleetMatrics, Route4Me) and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to handle high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with local regulations and best practices in Indonesian logistics (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Physical stamina to occasionally assist with loading/unloading or site inspections.
