Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to align with company goals and market trends.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management.
- Optimize demand planning and inventory management to ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to streamline procurement processes.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, KPIs, and cost-saving initiatives to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or familiarity with regional market dynamics is advantageous.
