Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Support the procurement team in negotiating contracts and terms with vendors.
- Help maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, pricing, and new supply opportunities.
- Assist in preparing and processing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to avoid stockouts or excess.
- Prepare reports and presentations on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, or supply chain principles.
