Responsibility
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders in compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on assigned equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and goods efficiently within warehouse and terminal areas.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize workflow and meet operational targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to equipment operation and workplace safety.
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered.
- Assist in training new operators and providing guidance on best practices for equipment handling.
- Adhere to environmental and sustainability guidelines in all operational activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator in logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Valid certification or license to operate heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, crane).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in equipment operation.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions and shifts.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor equipment repairs and troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
