Responsibility
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for imported goods, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective import shipments.
- Prepare and verify all import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Monitor and track shipments from origin to destination, resolving any delays or discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate pricing trends, and negotiate favorable terms to optimize procurement costs.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, import transactions, and supplier performance in our ERP system.
- Collaborate with finance and inventory teams to ensure alignment between procurement, budgeting, and stock management.
- Stay updated on import regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, import operations, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian import regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance (e.g., HS codes, import licenses).
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
