Responsibility

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, negotiation, and contract management for local and international suppliers.
  • Coordinate import activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements (e.g., BL, commercial invoices, packing lists).
  • Optimize procurement strategies to balance cost, quality, and lead time, leveraging market trends and supplier performance data.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to track shipments, resolve delays, and ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, conducting regular performance reviews and risk assessments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to align procurement with production and sales needs.
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports, including cost savings, supplier performance, and import efficiency metrics.
  • Stay updated on global trade regulations, tariffs, and industry best practices to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, import/export operations, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing, retail, or logistics sector.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, DDP).
  • Proficient in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with suppliers in Asia, Europe, or the Americas is a plus.
