Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet project and operational requirements while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring alignment with company standards and ethical procurement practices.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of materials and equipment to prevent shortages or excess.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and finance, to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers.
- Oversee the procurement process from request to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, assess risks, and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations and ethical sourcing practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
