As a Procurement Executive, you will be responsible for preparing and managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials. Responsibility
- Prepare and issue light quotations and purchase orders (POs) in compliance with company policies and supplier agreements.
- Process customer purchase orders accurately in the ERP system and ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Submit weekly POs to suppliers and track delivery schedules to prevent delays.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and avoid stockouts.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and alternative sourcing options.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations, ethical standards, and company procedures.
- Generate reports on procurement activities, spending, and supplier performance for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with inventory management and demand forecasting.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
