Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for direct materials to meet production demands.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and supplier risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast material requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers based on quality, reliability, and compliance with company standards.
- Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support uninterrupted production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain best practices.
