Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans to meet manufacturing demands while optimizing costs and quality.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components, minimizing production delays.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their reliability, and assess cost-competitive alternatives.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to align procurement activities with operational and budgetary goals.
- Oversee purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries, ensuring compliance with quality standards and lead times.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions proactively by implementing contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, supplier performance, and cost savings for reporting and auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles, demand forecasting, and lean procurement methodologies.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian and international procurement regulations is a plus.
