Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure advantageous pricing.
- Manage supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company standards and ethical practices.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to anticipate supply chain risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement activities with production schedules.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
