Responsibility
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure procurement aligns with project requirements.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Drive sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco-friendly materials and promoting green procurement practices.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and disputes in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the manufacturing or environmental sector.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and green procurement is a plus.
