In this role, you will assist in the end-to-end procurement cycle, from purchase order (PO) processing to supplier coordination, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality raw materials and supplies. Responsibility
- Process and manage purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update procurement records, including contracts, invoices, and inventory logs, ensuring data integrity.
- Assist in negotiating terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the warehouse team to prevent stockouts or excess supply.
- Prepare and distribute procurement reports to relevant departments for decision-making.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to food safety and industry regulations.
- Support the procurement team in sourcing new suppliers and evaluating their reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including PO management and supplier coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
