Responsibility
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align procurement strategies with business objectives and customer demands.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable payment conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assess potential risks.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Ensure timely resolution of procurement-related issues, including delays, quality concerns, and invoicing discrepancies.
- Implement and monitor procurement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing cost-effective deals with suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess supplier performance and procurement data.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with international procurement regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
