Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms and pricing for materials and services.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Resolve supply chain issues and discrepancies in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, ethical standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
