Responsibility
- Execute procurement activities for assigned goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules and operational needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess supplier performance and market trends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics processes is a plus.
