Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO and industry-specific standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals to ensure adherence to quality protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality, including defect rates, customer complaints, and process efficiency.
- Train and educate employees on quality standards, best practices, and the importance of quality in all operational processes.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other relevant quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, PDCA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SPSS, or Excel).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry-specific quality standards for manufacturing and logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
