Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company vehicles to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
- Replace or repair damaged parts, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and labor time.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to prioritize repair schedules and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during repairs and maintenance.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and industry best practices through continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a two-year technical or vocational course in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and manual tools for vehicle repairs.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and work in various positions (e.g., bending, kneeling).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are a plus.
