Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet project requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging trends in procurement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, inventory levels, and supplier communications.
- Resolve supply chain issues and mitigate risks to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, or Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess costs, risks, and supplier capabilities.
- Familiarity with contract law, compliance standards, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Ability to work independently in a project-based environment with tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
