Responsibility
- Conduct market research and supplier identification to source high-quality materials, services, and equipment at optimal costs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements for the company.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement and inventory availability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and reliability.
- Monitor supply chain performance and address any delays or issues to minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with project managers, finance, and logistics teams to align procurement activities with project timelines and budgets.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders, highlighting cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
