Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability to meet organizational needs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Track order deliveries and resolve any discrepancies or delays with suppliers.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, including performance metrics and contract details.
- Assist in developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives and procurement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and procurement software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate supplier performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
