Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
- Lead negotiations with vendors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to inform procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Logistics) to align procurement activities with business objectives.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
- Oversee the procurement process, from request for proposals (RFPs) to purchase order issuance and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs, and improving supplier performance.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to changing business needs.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are a plus.
