Responsibility

  • Design and develop engaging training programs for retirement services processes, including onboarding, upskilling, and refresher courses.
  • Convert complex process documentation into interactive learning modules, including e-learning, videos, and simulations.
  • Conduct hands-on training sessions (virtual and in-person) to ensure rapid knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Assess training effectiveness through performance metrics, feedback, and knowledge checks, and refine programs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in retirement services.
  • Create and maintain training materials, including manuals, job aids, and quick-reference guides.
  • Identify skill gaps within teams and develop targeted interventions to improve competence and efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new processes or systems by providing end-user training and change management support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in training, process improvement, or a similar role, preferably in financial services or retirement planning.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex concepts and deliver training in an engaging, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Experience with instructional design tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor training to diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with retirement services operations, including plan administration, compliance, and customer service.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure training ROI and track performance improvements.
  • Certifications in training, HR, or financial services (e.g., ATD, SHRM, or retirement-specific credentials) are a plus.
