Responsibility
- Lead and manage the process engineering team to develop, optimize, and maintain assembly processes for high-precision photonic products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality in manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and processes.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for assembly processes to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze process data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
- Oversee the design and implementation of tooling, fixtures, and automation solutions to improve assembly line performance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, automation, and production systems in a high-precision industry (e.g., photonics, electronics, or aerospace).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in CAD software, statistical analysis tools, and process simulation software.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or other quality management systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment and adapt to evolving technological demands.
