Responsibility
- Conduct on-site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.) in hyperscale data centers.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to review mechanical drawings, specifications, and compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.).
- Monitor and analyze energy efficiency metrics, proposing upgrades or modifications to reduce operational costs.
- Lead emergency response and root-cause analysis for mechanical system failures, ensuring rapid resolution.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, as-built documentation, and compliance audits for stakeholders.
- Train and mentor local technicians and subcontractors on best practices for mechanical system operation and maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and client SLAs in all field activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical systems for data centers, commercial buildings, or industrial facilities.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, CRAC/CRAH units, and fire suppression systems.
- Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems), SCADA, and IoT-based monitoring tools.
- Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), LEED, or CFPS (Certified Fire Protection Specialist) are highly desirable.
- Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, P&IDs, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
