Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and maintain surface treatment processes for substrate, PCB, and electroplating applications to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor and troubleshoot process deviations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines in all processes.
- Conduct experiments and data analysis to enhance process efficiency, yield, and product performance.
- Provide technical support to production teams, including training and documentation of best practices.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to maintain and improve product consistency and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in surface treatment technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in surface treatment, electroplating, or PCB/substrate manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electroplating techniques, chemical processes, and surface treatment technologies.
- Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IPC, ISO) and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to document processes and present findings effectively.
