Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement automation and digital optimization strategies for manufacturing processes.
- Integrate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
- Lead the deployment of Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and machine learning applications.
- Conduct system testing, validation, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architectures, workflows, and optimization processes.
- Train and mentor team members on new technologies and best practices in manufacturing automation.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to measure the impact of optimization initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in manufacturing optimization, automation, or system integration.
- Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and industrial automation software.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Familiarity with IoT, AI, and digital twin technologies in a manufacturing context.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to innovation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in project management and leading technical initiatives is a plus.
