Responsibility
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of facility equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of building systems, identifying potential issues and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage modification, upgrade, and replacement projects for outdated or inefficient systems, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including safety, operations, and procurement, to align facility management with organizational goals.
- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance metrics for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, industry standards, and company policies related to facility management and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CFM, PE) is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, building systems maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other facility management software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, or other relevant safety and quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
