Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Identify root causes of production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure products meet industry and company standards.
- Design and execute process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new process implementations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations in all operational activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the steel, manufacturing, or heavy industry sector.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization, root cause analysis (RCA), and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and process simulation software.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TQM methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in PMP, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar is advantageous.
