Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, proposing actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and R&D teams to implement process enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Conduct time-motion studies, capacity analysis, and process capability assessments to drive data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, best practices, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in process optimization, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
- Proficiency in CAD software, process simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM principles (certification is a plus).
- Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, or other regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
