Responsibility
- Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all processes comply with industry standards, ISO certifications, and internal policies.
- Design and conduct experiments (DOE) to test process changes and validate improvements using statistical analysis.
- Lead cross-functional projects to introduce new technologies, automation, or lean manufacturing principles.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders, highlighting process improvements, cost savings, and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or TQM methodologies. Certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
