Based in the vibrant Badung region of Bali (covering areas like Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Kuta), you will play a critical role in ensuring the mechanical and operational integrity of our fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with marine engineering systems, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibility
- Assist the Chief Engineer in the operation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and propulsion systems onboard OSVs.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company standards.
- Monitor and troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, and auxiliary machinery to prevent downtime.
- Maintain accurate engineering logs, maintenance records, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
- Support emergency response procedures, including damage control and fire-fighting systems.
- Collaborate with deck crew and other departments to ensure seamless vessel operations during offshore missions.
- Adhere to safety protocols (ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL) and participate in drills and training programs.
- Assist in dry-docking and major overhaul projects as required.
Qualifications
- STCW Certification (Mandatory) with valid Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) or equivalent license.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Second Engineer or in a similar role aboard OSVs, tugboats, or commercial vessels.
- In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and marine electrical systems.
- Familiarity with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register) and flag-state requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in dynamic offshore environments.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) for technical reporting and crew communication.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks in confined spaces or adverse weather conditions.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (e.g., 28/28 or 45/45 days).
