Responsibility
- Lead and manage Lean and Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to enhance operational efficiency in aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Develop and implement strategic CI roadmaps aligned with business objectives, ensuring sustainable process improvements.
- Apply Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and optimize workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality) to drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans.
- Monitor and report on KPIs and performance metrics to track the impact of CI initiatives and ensure ROI.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean principles and CI tools to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of aerospace industry trends and best practices to ensure competitive advantage.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or Lean/Six Sigma certification (Black Belt/Green Belt) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading CI projects in aerospace, manufacturing, or high-precision industries.
- Strong expertise in Lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kanban, Poka-Yoke) and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to drive change in complex environments.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to influence at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP) and regulatory frameworks.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (preference for candidates already in Southeast Asia).
