Responsibility
- Oversee and optimize chemical processing parameters to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to scale up new processes from lab to full production.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices.
- Document and maintain accurate records of process parameters and adjustments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in chemical process engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of chemical processing principles and equipment.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in chemical manufacturing.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
